Pictured from left to right is some of the current and past Vaughn family.

Maya was adopted from Dallas Animal Service when she was in danger of losing her life. She has a sweet demeanor and loves to play with the younger ones.

Mouse is in the back. He was born underweight and survived the Parvo Virus. His human mom Anita stayed up all night for several nights in a row keeping him hydrated and trying alternative medicines.

Chica is in the front row. She was adopted from a neighbor when she was a baby. She started out as an only child, but became a mother figure when other pack members were added. When she was young, she had to have knee surgery.

T-Bone was adopted from a breeder who was leaving the business. Anita’s father named him because of the stip of white on his head looked like a T-Bone steak.

Bear lost her human father and her other human family could not get her adopted out because she was angry her human was no longer around. When she joined our pack, she became a different girl, even going up to strangers and greeting them.

Sophie was also adopted from Dallas Animal Services and was also at risk of losing her life. She quickly became pack leader, looking out for the others as if she was a protective mother. One time a Red Tailed hawk attacked the pack; she and the rest of the pack survived, the hawk did not.
